Plus size fashion retailer N Brown expects to hit a target of over £3 million of online sales this year, equating to half of its predicted turnover.
In the last four months of 2010, online sales rose by around quarter, although the company has recently had to simplify its website ordering process due to a high drop out rate of novice internet using customers who were cancelling out of the order process before it had completed.
N Brown chief executive Alan White is now hoping to cash in on the plus-size US market, which is currently estimated at $35bn. Launched last October, the company’s US business is anticipated to turnover £1m of sales in the second half of the year.
